Do we have to pay $4 a gallon for gas?
Looks like it. Summer is a long way off but some people are already paying $4 per gallon now.
Average gas price around the country has gone up to a record high of $3.26. Yes, I am talking about self-service regular. In the past two weeks crude oil price has surged past the $110 limit. The average price for diesel also set record with $4.06 a gallon. Drivers in New Jersey cannot complain much since they are paying the lowest about $3.03, while people San Francisco are playing the highest about $3.66. Cheer up Californians; you have the weather. The demand is still growing. It is expected that price will reach $4 even before summer. When summer comes it is sure to bring the high gas price with it: in the midst of summer we might have to pay more than $4.
When it comes to gas price, not much we can do. But look around near your neighborhood and find the cheapest gas. You can get some help online from sites like GasBuddy.
