How an odd book title gets its closure?
By winning the oddest book title of the year award. The book title is “If You Want Closure in Your Relationship, Start With Your Legs“.
The Booksellers competition started at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 1978, and this is the 30 year anniversary. The Closure captured one third of 8,500 online votes and easily beat “I was Tortured By the Pygmy Love Queen”. According to the author, Closure is a “self-help book, written by a man for the benefit of women,” and it emphasizes the importance of lower limbs. Some of the other titles vying for the prize include “Cheese Problems Solved”, “How to Write a How to Write Book”, “Are Women Human? And Other International Dialogues”. If these are odd, consider the past winners: “Joy of Chickens”, “The Theory of Lengthwise Rolling”, “Lesbian Sadomasochism Safety Manual”, “Living with Crazy Buttocks”, “Bombproof Your Horse”, “Joy of Sex: Pocket Edition”.
But the first winner is still the all time favorite: Proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Nude Mice.
