Can you become a leader by buying sneakers?

I don’t know why, but there is some data which finds a correlation between the two.

sneakers.gifPeople who buy more than three pairs of sneakers a year are far more likely to have leadership qualities than others, according to a poll by New York based media company Mindset Media. Among 7500 people participated in the poll, the correlation was observed across the board, regardless of age, income, or gender. “It is often said you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes they wear, and now we have some hard data to back that up,” the spokeswoman of the company told Reuters.

The company’s earlier surveys found that not having credit-card debts makes you more likely to be highly deliberate and owning hybrid cars makes you less likely to be dogmatic. What’s next in the correlation between personality traits and consumer behavioral habits? Probably people who are absent-minded are more likely to shop online. Or people who are indecisive are more likely to eat at a fast food restaurant. Or creative people are more likely to wear jeans in formal occasions. What do you think?
