Cut everything into half, of course. A farmer in Serbia did exactly that to share half of his property with his ex-wife.

Branko Zivkov, a 76 year old farmer, ended his 45 year of marriage in divorce. After his divorce, the court awarded his wife half of his property and ordered him to comply with the judgment. He had no problem sharing half of all their earnings, but was not too happy to give the ex-wife equal share of his farming tools. So he came up with an interesting way to share the tools that would satisfy the court order and quench his anger at the same time: he grabbed his grinding machine and cut all the tools in half. He applied this method of sharing to all his farm equipments, small and large. It surely takes some serious dedication to cut cattle scale and sowing machine in halves.

He is not sure what do with his cow, but he is happy to give whatever part his ex-wife wants.
