Yes. In a tragic accident a zoo tiger has eaten a mentally ill Chinese man.

Zhang Yachun, a 37 year old man from northwest China, was missing from his home. His family was worried on the account that he suffered from mental problems. Few days later he was found near the tiger’s cage, mostly eaten by the tiger. Except his head and the legs, the tiger devoured most of his body. Ironically, it is his love for tigers that may have driven him to the zoo and to the tiger. This is not the first time it happened in China. Due to the lack of proper protection from dangerous animals, there are frequent incidents like this one. A few months ago, a boy lost his arm to a lion during his visit to a circus. Just a year ago, a boy ended up as a crocodile meal. Another zoo tiger bit off a six year old girl’s head.

So be careful when you visit Chinese zoo or circus. You don’t want to end up as the special of the day.
