Wisdumb: Why spam is good for you?
We all know the complaints and news reports about how annoying and counter productive spam is and how the spammers should be harshly dealt with. But if we take a moment, we will find multitude of reasons to love spam. Here are three.
- Boosts our mail ego: We all know how proud a full inbox makes us and how “no new message” makes us feel so unloved. Frequent and regular spam keeps our mail ego healthy. Without spam most of us would be seeking professional help by now.
- Unconditional Friendship: Unlike our friends, family, and colleagues spammers do not expect us to reply. They will continue to send us emails even if we never respond. They are that committed and their friendship is totally unconditional.
- Safest Relation: It is the safest relation ever, online or off line. We never have to do anything unsafe: meet up, go out for coffee, invite them to our house, get invited to boring parties, or get our heart broken. Spammers will never cross the boundary and we are always in control.
